November 11 at the pristine Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
Jonathan swept the evening, as he earned Fast Time honors during
XR Super Series qualifying prior to winning his heat race. After
starting the 40-lap feature event from the pole position, JD led
each and every circuit to pocket the $20,000 windfall ahead of runner-up
Brandon Overton, Shane Clanton, Tim McCreadie, and Stormy Scott!
In other action in "Sin City," Jonathan
also earned podium performances in the other two XR events that
were held during the 'Duel in the Desert' weekend. On Thursday in
the opener, Jonathan won his heat race in preliminary action before
finishing third in the 40-lapper behind only $20,000 victor Shane
Clanton and runner-up Tim McCreadie. In Saturday's $40,000 to win

Rolls to World Finals Triumph for $25,000!
6, 2022) Jonathan Davenport, of Blairsville, Georgia,
upped his 2022 win total to twenty-two on Saturday night, November
5 in the 'World Finals' finale at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte
in Concord, North Carolina! Jonathan ran second in his loaded heat
race last night and later started the 50-lap feature from the outside
of the fourth row. JD then overtook early leader Hudson O'Neal to
grab the point on lap 28 and drove away from the stellar field to
pocket the $25,000 payday over runner-up Chris Madden, Dennis Erb,
Jr., Tim McCreadie, and Dale McDowell!
Earlier in the week at the 4/10-mile speedplant, a
pair of $15,000 top prizes were up for grabs in 'World Finals' prelims.
On Wednesday evening in the opener, Jonathan was unfortunately involved
in a pair of heat race incidents and later placed sixth in his B-Main,
which kept him out of the 40-lap main event. Things went smoother

16, 2022) A crown jewel extravaganza was next up
on the racing calendar for Double L Motorsports, as the 42nd edition
of the 'Dirt Track World Championship' was held on October 14-15
at Portsmouth Raceway Park. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
finale drew 68 competitors to the Portsmouth, Ohio venue and a whopping
$100,000 first place prize was once again on the line. During preliminary
action on Friday night, Jonathan Davenport timed in eighth fastest
in Group B during qualifying prior to placing fourth in his stacked

'Dirt Track World Championship,' Jonathan secured a victory in his

Davenport in Tri-County Race Track Return
7, 2022) Returning to where he cut his teeth in
winning the 1995 Mini Stock Track Championship, Jonathan Davenport
vied for the $22,022 top prize on Thursday night, October 6 in the
biggest race in Tri-County Race Track history! Jonathan toured the
Brasstown, North Carolina oval quicker than the other 34 competitors
during Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series qualifying to earn
Fast Time honors, but was unfortunately collected in a heat race
incident. After quick work from his crew in the infield, JD returned
to the track to grab the fourth and final transfer spot through
The Blairsville, Georgia standout then rolled off
from the inside of the seventh row in the 'Tarheel 50' and blasted
all the way up to fifth in the running order late in the 53-lapper.
Unfortunately, Jonathan suffered a flat right rear tire and was

21, 2022) Double L Motorsports made their way to
Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana on September 19-20 for the inaugural
running of the 'Kokomo Dirt Nationals,' which was sanctioned by
the XR Super Series. On Monday night in the $20,000 to win opener,
Jonathan Davenport timed in quickest in Group B during qualifying,
ran second in his heat race, and later advanced up to fifth in the

Keeps Rolling; Wins First Knoxville Nationals Title!
19, 2022) "Superman" Jonathan Davenport
claimed yet another crown jewel victory in 2022 on Sunday, September
18 in the rain-postponed 'Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals'
at the sprawling Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa! Jonathan,
who finished third in Thursday's $7,000 to win prelim and eighth
in Friday's $7,000 to win show, earned the rights to the outside
of the front row for the grand finale that was originally slated
for Saturday evening.
In the daytime contest, which was cut to only 50 circuits
due to tire wear concerns, Jonathan held the point for the first
eight laps before sliding back to the third spot. The Blairsville,
Georgia superstar then got up on the wheel and drove past leader
Tyler Bruening on lap 48 to grab the lead for good. At the checkers,

Dazzles in Claiming Fifth Globe Trophy!!!
11, 2022) Jonathan Davenport continued his recent
'World 100' dominance on Saturday night, September 10 at Eldora
Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio by claiming his fifth globe trophy in
the last eight years! Jonathan won his heat race in preliminary
action and later started the 100-lap headliner from the pole position.
After leading the first 37 circuits, JD regained the point for good
on lap 55. The Blairsville, Georgia superstar then drove to his
twentieth win of the year and pocketed the $55,000 first place prize
money ahead of a top five that included runner-up Brandon Overton,
Chris Madden, Tim McCreadie, and Ricky Thornton, Jr.!
Earlier in the long week at the "Big E,"
Jonathan rallied from his twenty-first starting spot on Wednesday

31, 2022) "Superman" Jonathan Davenport
invaded Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois over the
July 29-30 weekend for the annual running of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic,'
which was sanctioned once again by the World of Outlaws Case Construction
Late Model Series. On Friday night during preliminary action with
81 cars on the grounds, Jonathan stopped the clock only 33rd quickest
in qualifying before advancing past nine competitors during his
$3,000 to win semifeature to land in the eighth finishing position.
After winning his B-Main on Saturday evening, JD was unfortunately
an early retiree in the 100-lap 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' Gunning
for the $50,000 top prize, the Blairsville, Georgia standout was
stuffed into the fence on lap 20 and settled for a disappointing

Jonathan Davenport picked up two big victories in the states of
Nebraska and Iowa in recent days to elevate their 2022 win total
to twelve! At I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska during the 'Silver
Dollar Nationals,' Jonathan started off the lucrative weekend with
an impressive runner-up effort on Thursday, July 21 behind only
$12,000 victor Chris Madden. JD then won his first heat race on
Friday night before placing sixth in his final heat race, which
earned him enough points to roll off from the inside of the fourth
row in the 80-lap 'Silver Dollar Nationals' headliner. After Mother
Nature pushed the I-80 finale back to Sunday, Jonathan tracked down
leader Tim McCreadie in lapped traffic on the 74th circuit and bagged

in victory lane for the ninth time in 2022 on Friday evening, July
8 in the second prelim night during the annual 'Gopher 50' at Deer
Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota! Jonathan Davenport set
a New Track Record during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying
prior to winning his heat race and leading all 25 circuits in the
main event. At the checkers, Jonathan had picked up the $5,000 paycheck
for besting Brandon Overton, Tim McCreadie, Mike Marlar, and Kyle
In the first prelim of the weekend on Thursday night,
July 7, Jonathan once again won his heat race and battled for the

Grabs Pair of Top Tens in Lernerville Prelims
26, 2022) The #49 team made their way to the storied
Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania from June 23-25 for
the 16th edition of the 'Firecracker 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series sanctioned the lucrative mega-event for the very first
time and 54 competitors piled into the pit area at the Keystone
State speedplant to do battle in the three day extravaganza. On
Thursday night in a $6,000 to win preliminary event, Jonathan Davenport
ran third in his heat race prior to advancing up to sixth in the
30-lap sprint. In a similar $6,000 to win show on Friday evening,
Jonathan placed third in his heat race and once again moved forward
in the 30-lapper to land in the seventh finishing position.
When Saturday rolled around at Lernerville Speedway,
a huge crowd assembled to witness who would go home with the whopping

19, 2022) A busy week saw the Double L Motorsports
team in action at both Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas
and Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee from June 13-18.
On Monday on the monstrous 1/2-mile speedplant at Belleville, Jonathan
Davenport set Fast Time during qualifying, won his heat race, and
then led all twenty circuits in the XR Super Series 'Belleville
Dirt Nationals' opener to bag the $20,000 top prize ahead of runner-up
Chris Madden, Chase Junghans, Kyle Strickler, and Chris Ferguson.
At Belleville on Tuesday on the small 1/4-mile infield oval, Jonathan
won his heat race and led the first nine circuits of the 50-lapper
before winding up third behind only $40,000 victor Shane Clanton
and runner-up Chris Madden.
Following a long trek to the Volunteer State, the
#49 team competed in the 'Mountain Moonshine Classic' over the weekend.
In the $5,000 to win prelim on Friday evening at Smoky Mountain

12, 2022) Following his life-changing 'Eldora Million'
triumph, Jonathan Davenport was right back at it at Eldora Speedway
over the weekend in the annual running of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.'
On Friday night, June 10, Jonathan stopped the clock eighth quickest
in his group during qualifying before securing a victory in heat
race action. The $12,000 to win preliminary feature was then unfortunately
pushed back to Saturday afternoon due to rain showers and JD rolled
off from the inside of the second row in the daytime affair. The
Blairsville, Georgia superstar was battling hard inside of the top
five in the 25-lapper when contact from another competitor sent
him pitside with a flat tire. After quick attention from the #49
crew, Jonathan returned to the track to salvage a fourteenth place
At the "Big E" on Saturday evening, June
11, all eyes in the pit area were fixated on capturing the $128,000

10, 2022) Jonathan Davenport has etched his name
into the record book by becoming an 'Eldora Million' Champion! Following
a rain-out on Wednesday, the entire 'Eldora Million' spectacular
was held at the famed Eldora Speedway on Thursday, June 9. In the
afternoon preliminary event at the Rossburg, Ohio speedplant, Jonathan
timed in tenth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session
prior to dominating his heat race. After rolling off third on the
grid in the 25-lap sprint, Jonathan blitzed past early leader Gregg
Satterlee to grab the point on a lap 8 restart and never looked
back en route to capturing the $12,000 payday ahead of Ricky Thornton,
Jr., Bobby Pierce, Brandon Sheppard, and Jason Feger!
In the nightcap, JD accumulated enough points to sit
on the pole of the fifth heat race, which he won easily. The Blairsville,
Georgia superstar then started the 101-lap 'Eldora Million' from
the outside of the front row and set sail early in the contest -
leading by as much as seven seconds and eventually lapping up to
the fifth position. In the waning laps, Jonathan had to win groove-swapping,
